We’re working on a large-scale ERP modernization project built on Odoo, focused on retail, cooperative, and FMCG workflows (Procurement, Inventory, Sales, Finance, and HRMS).

In this role, you will (Responsibilities)
- Design and review Odoo module architecture across multiple domains (Inventory, POS, HR, Finance).
- Define data models, integration APIs, and technical standards for the development team.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate workflows into Odoo logic.
- Oversee custom module coding, ensuring scalability and upgrade-safety.
- Conduct code reviews, sprint planning, and performance optimization.
- Guide developers on best practices for ORM, QWeb, and API design.
- Define deployment strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and upgrade paths.
What you’ll need to succeed (Requirements)
- 8–12 years total experience, with 5+ years in Odoo (v14–v17).
- Proven track record in end-to-end Odoo ERP implementations (multi-company or large organization scale).
- Deep Expertise in Odoo ORM, Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JS/Owl.
- Deep Expertise in custom module creation and inter-module dependencies.
- Deep Expertise in REST API integrations (Govt APIs, payment gateways, external systems).
- Strong understanding of workflow automation, security groups, and role-based access.
- Familiarity with Git-based collaboration and Agile sprints.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience with Odoo Enterprise features and custom app development.
- System design, scalability, performance tuning, and security best practices.
- Integration patterns (REST/SOAP, RabbitMQ, webhooks).
Nice to Have
- Odoo Certification (v14/v15/v16+).
- Prior experience with government, cooperative, or FMCG ERP projects.
- Contributions to Odoo Community / GitHub modules.
- Ability to guide junior developers remotely and review code for scalability.
